It’s your music. Do what you want with it. Do it for free.
There are many good reasons that someone would have to transfer music from her iPod back to her computer. There are many good ways to do it, too. Senuti is the only alternative that will give you the power and convenience that you need, wrapped in an interface that is extremely easy to use, at a cost that you can’t complain about.
Lightning fast.
There’s a little file on your iPod called the iTunesDB file. What does that mean to you? Nothing. What does that mean to me? Everything.
Every bit of information on every song on your iPod is stored in this little file. Every bit of information on your playlists is stored in this file, too. It’s how iTunes knows what’s on your iPod. It’s how your iPod knows what’s there, too. There isn’t a much faster way to figure out what’s on your iPod.
Senuti includes all of the built in options that one would expect to find songs. You can search and sort in any combination of ways that you want. That’s not quite enough sometimes, though. Sometimes you might want to know if you’re copying the right song. Know how it goes, but don’t know if that title is quite right? Play it! That’s right, Senuti will play songs directly off of your iPod. It can even double as a jukebox player for your Shuffle or any other iPod.
Senuti not only reads the playlists that you made on your iPod, but it allows you to transfer them back to your computer as well. A simple drag and drop action within the application will not only copy songs to your computer and and add them to iTunes, but it will make a new playlist with the same name and add all of the songs to that list.
Adding songs to your computer, you’re probably going to add them to iTunes right after that, right? What if you didn’t have to, wouldn’t that be great? Well you don’t have to. Senuti will do all of the work for you. What work you want it to do is up to you. You can have songs added to iTunes if you want. You can have all of your music organized into folders by artist and album, too. The option’s yours.

CHDecide helps you locate the most rational decision. The program uses the expected-utility theory to make predictions of which option you should choose.
CHDecide will ask you to estimate how likely you are to succeed with an option, how much it’s worth for you and how much it hurts if you fail. A screen saver that displays a carved 3D pumpkin. The pumpkin is recreated in loving detail right down to the flickering candle inside. Several carving designs are included, and you can even create your own to be displayed. No getting your hands dirty carving the real thing. Artificial pumpkin smell not included.

StepMania is a rhythm game. Arrows pointing in different directions scroll up from the bottom of the screen and the player must hit the corresponding button in time to the music. The game can be played with your hands using the keyboard, but the real fun comes when using a “dance pad” with foot sensors. StepMania has game types called “Dance”, “Pump”, “Para”, and “Ez2″ that are similar to other music games.

An application primarily intended for users with large and/or multiple screens, which allows the mouse cursor to “wrap” around the screens. Rather than spending time and energy moving the cursor across the screen, from one side to the other, simply drag it off one edge and it immediately appears on the other side.
Wraparound can handle even the most abnormal of screen layout configurations, and even allow windows and other objects to be dragged though screen edges. And if you’re worried about not being able to hit your menu bar or dock without the edge to stop the cursor, you can always turn off horizontal or vertical screen wrapping to suit your preferences. It also preserves screensavers and Exposé functionality with variable sized non-wrapping areas at the corners.

A BBC Micro and Master 128 emulator. The hardware emulated by Mac BeebEm is that of a standard BBC Micro Model B, a Model B with IntegraB board, Model B Plus or Master 128. An optional 65C02 and Torch Z80 second processors are also emulated. The emulation is near enough accurate to run most software. Mac BeebEm is distributed with everything you need to get it going. It is also distributed with full source code so you can compile and modify Mac BeebEm yourself.

Plugs directly into iPhoto and allows it to export much better HTML web pages (photo galleries). It is a free and opensource utility. It should be pretty self explanatory, and making your own templates is a simple affair, if you look at the included documentation and the provided templates.
